- In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes this Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). 1. Requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs Program Contracting Activity Central (VA-PCAC) is seeking information to determine if sources are available to perform Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Site Owner s Training. 2. Description of Work: Training will be 40 hours in length and conducted during normal business hours (8:00 A.M. though 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday). The location of training will 6150 Oak Tree Blvd. Independence, Ohio, 44134. VHA Program Contracting Activity Central will provide the space and infrastructure needed for training. The contractor will be required to provide all equipment and course material needed to facilitate the training topics outlined below: At a minimum, the SharePoint 2013 Site Owner's training shall include the following topics in order to fulfill training needs: Best practices and use of SharePoint 2013 Business Intelligence tools including creating surveys, dashboards, dynamic performance metrics reporting, trend analysis and projected performance data. Best practices, use, creation and management of lists, libraries, workflows, webparts, sites and subsites, permissions, forms, Access services, records including the use of Records Managements, web content and PowerShell 3. Submittal Information: All responses shall include the following information: Provide a Statement of Interest in performing Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Site Owner s Training for the Department of Veteran Affairs Program Contracting Activity Central (VA-PCAC). Provide North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes utilized to perform Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Site Owner s Training. Provide company name, DUNS number, company address, point-of-contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. Provide GSA contract number, schedule, relevant Special Items Numbers (SINs) if applicable. Provide company business size and status (i.e., Large Business, Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Small Business, HubZone Small Business, etc.), the number of years in business, affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, and potential teaming partners. Provide the type of work your company has performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirements. Please include the following in your response: No more than three (3) projects comparable to the scope of work summary listed under section 2. Information submitted for the projects shall describe a summary of the work performed and specific technical skills and key personnel your company possess to perform the requirements. 4. It is requested that interested contractors submit a response (electronic submission) of no more than 10 single-sided pages in length, single spaced, 12-point font minimum that addresses the above information. Be sure to include this Microsoft Share Point Training Sources Sought Response in the Subject Line of the email. Submissions (responses) shall be received by no later than February 28th, 2018 at 2:00 pm ET. At this time no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION.
