Description

1.4Summary of Work A.General: This specification, along with related documents specified in Paragraph 1.1, covers the requirements for all work associated with the demolition of two existing RR antenna towers and associated infrastructure and the construction of one new self-supporting RR antenna tower and its associated infrastructure located at the existing LAX RR facility. This project requires close coordination with FAA and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) personnel for the location of underground utilities, installation of new underground services, installation of new equipment and associated cutovers in the new tower, and demolition of the existing RR towers. The Contractor is responsible for accomplishing all items of work in accordance with the applicable drawings, specifications and conditions of the Contract. Additional labor, materials, equipment, and/or appurtenances not specifically detailed or specified, but required to complete the project, shall be provided by the Contractor as an integral part of the scope of work specified.
