Description
The following question has been received in response to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. A response has been compiled below: Question 7. I have another question pertaining to the subsequent amended verbiage: and have the ability to coordinate directly with Avaya and/or open service tickets with Avaya for next-level support. Contractor must be able to provide all maintenance services without directing Government to coordinate with Avaya, and the proposal should establish how the contractor will approach resolution of issues that require coordination with Avaya. This amendment seems to further restrict non-Avaya Business Partners from competing as only Avaya Business Partners can coordinate directly with Avaya. Companies such as [ ] perform all maintenance and support independent from Avaya, utilizing in-house OEM-Certified engineers. Is it too late to have the solicitation worded to allow the following: Maintenance service to be provided shall require the contractor to be an authorized Avaya Business Partner, provide Avaya Maintenance (OEM support), and have extensive understanding of the Avaya CM, and CMM application software, not limited to the capability to troubleshoot the server platform, and have the ability to see all maintenance and support needs through completion. coordinate directly with Avaya and/or open service tickets with Avaya for next-level support. Contractor must be able to provide all maintenance and support services without directing Government to coordinate with Avaya, and the proposal should establish how, if needed, the contractor will approach resolution of issues that require coordination with Avaya. Thank you for your consideration. Answer 7. No further revisions to the Statement of Work will be made. There is no change in the due date of quotes as a result of this amendment.
