- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair the Life Raft Inflatables as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Air Cruisers Company, LLC (70167), Wall Township, NJ for repair of 5 various Life Raft Inflatables. The intention of this solicitation is to award a repair requirements long term contract (LTC). The repair LTC will include three base years and two option years. The contract will include the repair of the parts listed in the attachment A, and the Weapon System, Ship or Aircraft the items are used on or supports. The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to manufacture the item. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Air Cruisers Company, LLC. Air Cruisers Company, LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the listed Life Rafts. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 326299. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Air Cruisers Company, LLC will be solicited on or after 07 MAR 2018 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
