- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Veterans Benefits Administration, Portland Regional Benefit Office, 100 SW Main Street, Portland, Oregon 97204 has a requirement for the Disassembly, Removal and Disposal of its High Density Mobile Files System and all associated components. The contractor shall dismantle and remove approximately 60 double sided carriages of an existing Space Saver Mobile Files System and all its associated components. The removal shall include, but is not limited to all electrical connections, file shelves, carpet tiles and adhesive, plywood sub-flooring, and rails. The third floor of 100 SW Main St is approximately 32,945 sq. ft. The file system makes up approximately 5,101 sq. ft. of floor space. Upon completion of the removal of the File System rails (rails are anchored with tapcon) the Contractor shall restore the concrete floor to the original smooth level surface and sweep and mop the finished surface and put back in place the carpet tiles. The contractor shall remove all materials to include file system from the property. The applicable NAICS code is 562920. This procurement will be set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses with valid registrations at the VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website (http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) as well as valid registration at the System for Award Management, website (http://sam.gov/). Both company profiles must be registered under the applicable NAICS codes to be considered responsive. It is anticipated a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted at www.FBO.gov within the next six (6) days. Questions regarding this announcement and subsequent RFQ may be directed to the Contracting Officer via email to Bertha V. Leguizamon at bertha.leguizamon@va.gov.
