DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide design and construction services to complete a project entitled Replace Generator 5 ; Project 672-17-601 to be performed at the Caribbean Healthcare System Main Hospital. All work to be performed in accordance with the Scope of Work provided with the solicitation Estimated Target Completion Period: 730 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.00. NAICS 238210 Commercial and Institutional Building Constructions. Size Standard is $15.0 Million. Product Service Code Y1AZ This design-build, project/solicitation that will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 23, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
