Description

1. Introduction/Purpose The FAA Academy has a requirement for BK-117 (EC-145) Maintenance Training. The FAA is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing BK-117 (EC-145) Maintenance Training in accordance with the attached required document(s). This market survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy section 3.2.1.2.1 Market Analysis. 2. Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen depending on market research and responses to this survey. 3. Disclaimer (a)This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b)The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c)The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d)Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense 4.North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code The NAICS code projected for the procurement is 611519 -- Other Technical and Trade Schools. 5.Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities to meet the requirements as outlined in the attached requirements document. Please provide: Any relevant experience Technical approach Corporate capabilities Size and type of service provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance) Geographical areas where your company can provide service. Number of years in business Any questions or comments on the requirement All responses (one response per company) are to be provided on company letterhead and include a brief synopsis (10 pages or less) describing the proposed training for planning purposes of the FAA. 6. Delivery of Submittals Submittals to this Market Survey shall be e-mailed to the Contract Specialist Jennifer Lucas at jennifer.lucas@faa.gov no later than 12:00 PM CST on March 6, 2018. NO PHYSICAL COPIES OR PHONE CALLS. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM CST ON MARCH 2, 2018 TO ALLOW ADEQUATE TIME FOR RESPONSE. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. 7.SAM Registration An active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) must be obtained to be considered for government contracts with the FAA. 8.Attachments (a) BK-117 (EC-145) Training “ Requirements Respondents are encouraged to review the attached document and provide comments.
