Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the removal and installation of a new, outside Air Damper and Pneumatic Damper Actuator for the John D. Dingle (Detroit) VA Medical Center. The contractor will be required to provide the replacement air damper and actuators, as well as performing the replacement on the system. The contractor will be required to provide all equipment and materials for this requirement, to include, but not limited to tools, infection control barriers, sticky mats, HEPA filtered negative air machine, and other items not specified. This installation will be in an infection control area so the government shall not allow contractors to perform without the required equipment. Should you respond to this notice, please include the following information in your response: Copy of your capabilities statement; Note if the required services are available via your GSA Schedule or Open Market; Contractor Name; Point of Contact (including name, title, phone, and email); AND DUNS Information This Sources Sought Notice is intended to locate any contractor capable of performing this requirement and shall be used solely for market research purposes. The anticipated NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220 with a size standard of $15 million. This IS NOT a Request for Quotation and quotes shall not be reviewed. A detailed Statement of Work shall be provided at the time of solicitation. No further information shall be provided as part of this notice. A response will not be made to these requests. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. All responses shall be submitted via email by Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 4:00 PM EST. Responses shall be submitted to Jeremy Boston at Jeremy.Boston@va.gov. Phone calls shall not be accepted for this notice.
