Description: SOLICITATION - REQUEST FOR OFFER FAA ACADEMY STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES SOLICITATION 6973GH-18-R-00048 Small Business Set-aside Base Year and up to four (4) one year option periods, if exercised. The contractor must provide all equipment, personnel, services, and the incidentals required to furnish local transportation services to and from the Mike Monoroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), 6501 Mike Monroney Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73169. Services are for Academy students and federal personnel conducting official business as authorized by the CO or the COR, while temporarily residing in the local Oklahoma City area. The mission of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy is to provide quality, cost-effective learning solutions to develop a highly skilled workforce for the FAA and global community. In fulfillment of our mission, the Academy provides technical training and develops/conducts training courses; maintains and manages the FAA 冱 distance learning systems; and provides training program management and consultation services. Working in support of the overall FAA mission, we are constantly striving to be the leader for aerospace learning solutions and best aviation training organization in the world. The expertise and experience of the FAA Academy staff, and the quality and value of the Academy products and services set us apart from others who offer similar products and services. We currently offer more than 6,000 courses by various media types each year. We are responsive to the needs and concerns of our customers. The Academy offers a wide array of training and assistance to our customers and provides training to an average of 76,000 students per year, including over 12,400 international participants from 172 countries. Many of the world's leaders in civil aviation are alumni of the FAA Academy. The continued educational and professional interactions have led to mutual understanding and respect.
