- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: It is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a Solicitation, or an indication the HRCO will contract for the items contained in the RFI. This RFI is part of a Government market research effort to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest and will be treated as information only. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses to this RFI are strictly voluntary and the government will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not be returned and respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. This RFI does not restrict the Government's acquisition approach on a future Solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Dental services to be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Joint Commission, Hospital Accreditation Standards Manual; applicable DoD and Army specific regulations, directives, policies, and specific policies and procedures of the Dental Activity (DENTAC). Dental services are required to support continuity of operations for 15 DENTACs and DCCs located in DENCOM - Central and portions of DENCOM - Pacific. Dental services will support 5 days/week, 8 hours/day operations, excluding holidays. All contract dental providers perform within the scope of acceptable practice for the specific dental specialty or position as those required by the DTFs' government service dental professionals of similar experience and in similar duty assignments. The scope of services covers the same range of services as those that are provided in civilian dental clinics of similar size and complexity. a. Does your company currently have the capability to provide the necessary management, labor pool and security clearances to ensure successful continuity of services in support of the Dental Directorate's requirement for dental services at 15 DENTACS/DCCs located in DENCOM Central and portions of DENCOM - Pacific beginning 1 April 2018?
