Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Professional Landscape Management, a division of Dependable Lawn Care, Inc. of Blue Island, IL to provide landscaping services for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. This is a purchase for one year. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and compelling urgency. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 561730. The current long-term contract cannot be continued due to unforeseen circumstances. This one year bridge contract will allow the government to conduct adequate market research to identify potential service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses capable of providing these services, and solicit for a long-term contract. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to maintain Siemens water purification systems, to the Contracting Officer not later than 10:00AM Central Standard Time on 1 March 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the: Donald St. Onge Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) Southern Tier 3001 Green Bay Road, Building 1, Room 326, North Chicago, IL 60064-3048 or via fax to (224) 610-3269. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Professional Landscape Management.
