Description: A U.S. Flag Jones Act self-sustaining vessel or ABS certified tug & barge with a minimum capacity of 141 TEUs of ammunition with an average weight of 30,000 lbs and a maximum weight of 40,641 lbs. The Minimum Net Explosive Weight will be 276,605 pounds. Vessel/barge must be equipped with a certified Defense Transportation Tracking System (DTTS) satellite tracking system such as OMNITRACS. Vessel/Barge overall length (LOA) not to exceed ~700 ft / 213.4m, laden draft not to exceed 60 ft / 18.3m. The layday commences and cancels 25 March 2018. 17. Place of performance: Naval Magazine Indian Island, WA and Valdez AK. 18. Set-aside Status: 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The decision to make this a total small business set-aside is based on responses received under a recent of Market Survey. MSC's Small Business Associate has concurred with this assessment.
