Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 13.106b(1), Only One Responsible Source, for the deliverables outlined below due to this procurement needing to be compatible with existing government owned equipment. The associated NAICS code for this is 334510. The size standard is 1,250 employees. The vendor will be Finapres Medical Systems B.V. Requirement is for brand name only supplies. Finapres Nova Basic Hardware/Software A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. No solicitation package is available.   A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.   Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.   Responses must be received NLT 3:30 EST on Monday, 2/26/2018.   No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted.    All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Rd.
