- Lab Equip Repair This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contract resulting from this procurement will be a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation SPE605-18-Q-0296 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 dated 12 Jan 2017. DPAS rating for potential award is DO. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be reviewed/obtained in full text form at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. Scope of Contract: CLIN 0001: Repair - Horiba (Sulfur in Oil Analyzer) SLFA-UV21 Unit of Issue: EA Quantity: 0001 Required Delivery Date (Completion Date): March 31, 2018 Description: Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish on-site maintenance and repair of the HORIBA (SLFA-UV21A) to latest original manufacture specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, supplies, tools, equipment and related travel necessary to provide on-site (US Government facility) maintenance and repair for the equipment in accordance with latest equipment manufacturing specifications and commercial industry practices. All replacement parts provided under this contract shall be new and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of repair/replacement. Warrantied part(s) (associated to this repair) and its replacement shall include all applicable costs, which shall not be limited to cost of replacement, travel, or labor until the warrantied part(s) operate in accordance to the latest manufacture specifications. If repair provides for a published or issued by the equipment manufacturer, field service manuals, software, hardware, updates or upgrades these items shall be provided at no additional cost to the US Government as it would be to any other commercial entity. Upon completion of the maintenance and repair, a demonstration to ensure functionality for the Laboratory Team is required. Instrument Description: HORIBA INSTRUMENTS INC. Horiba Sulfur in Oil Analyzer Ultra Violet Fluorescence (SLFA-UV21A) Model: SLFA-UV21A Equipment is located at: Chibana Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japan 904-2143 CLIN 0002 Repair - Oxford Instrument MQC 23 NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) Unit of Issue: EA Quantity: 0001 Required Delivery Date (Completion Date): March 31, 2018 Description: Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish on-site maintenance and repair of the Oxford Instrument MQC 23 NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, supplies, tools, equipment and related travel necessary to provide on-site maintenance and repair for the equipment in accordance with (IAW) equipment manufacturing specifications and commercial industry practices. All replacement parts provided under this contract shall be warranted for a period of one (1) year for replacement of same including all applicable costs, to include but not limited to travel, labor, etcetera. If published or issued by the equipment manufacturer, field service manuals and software/hardware updates/upgrades will be provided at no additional cost (to include parts and labor) during the contract period. Upon maintenance and repair on-site training and hands on demonstration is requested to be completed for the Laboratory Team.
