SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for one of the following types of business concerns or to solicit unrestricted: * HUBZone Small Business concerns * Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB) * 8(a) certified Small Business concerns * Women Owned Small Business concerns (WOSB) * Small Business concerns The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237120 with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million. The estimated value of the procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds will be required. The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking Interested Vendors with successful past performance, current relevant experience, personnel, equipment, capability and bonding capacity to install a new fueling system at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Eastport located at 1 Washington St., Eastport, ME (Washington County). The work includes provision of new underground and pier mounted flexible marina fuel piping with containment, sumps, and leak detection system; Provide new fuel dispensers and sumps on pier; and provide a concrete pad and new UL 2085 compliant 2,000 gallon above-ground storage tank (AST) as specified. The tank shall provide 1,000 gallons of diesel and 1,000 gallons of gasoline storage capacity. Tank shall have concrete encased secondary containment, new piping, fuel pumps, leak detection, and level monitoring accessories. The performance period is estimated to be 132 days. Your response should include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid for this solicitation as prime contractor; (b) a statement identifying your certified small business designation (if any); (c) evidence of bonding capacity to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals; and, (d) Evidence of successful relevant past performance on similar fuel system projects to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. Your response is required no later than March 5, 2018 4:00 PM EST.
