Description

The Meal Cold Weather (MCW) is a unique item in that it is commercial in nature, but military in application. The MCW is designed to meet the Joint Services requirements of the Marine Corps and the Army Special Operations Forces. NSN: 8970-01-467-1753 This requirement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract containing three annual tiered delivery periods. Minimum Quantity 12,500 bx Estimated Annual Quantity: 22,500 Maximum Quantity (total 3 years): 150,000 The contract shall be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method of procurement. The Govnerment reserves the right to conduct a Reverse Auction if applicable. In order to be considered technically acceptable, the offeror must submit Product Demonstration Models (PDMs) and Past Performance Information which will both be rated on an Acceptable/Unacceptable basis. The award shall be made to the lowest technically acceptable offer. A Fixed Price Contract with an Economic Price Adjustment is anticipated. F.O.B. Origin, Contractor is Responsible for Inspection, Government Accepts at Origin. Delivery shall begin 210 days after receipt of order.
