Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, intends to issue solicitation number 36C24218R0255 for Emergency Medicine Physician Services for the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center located at: Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center 113 Holland Ave Albany, NY 12208 The scope of this procurement is for emergency medicine physician services for the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center Emergency Department. Contractor shall be responsible for providing 4 to 8 Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine (strongly preferred), Internal Medicine or Family Medicine providers to perform Emergency Department physician services to the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center. The resultant contract will be a single award, firm fixed price (FFP) contract for a base period of 1 year, plus 4 one year option periods. The solicitation will be issued at the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov) on/about 3/7/2018. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621111 Office of Physicians (other than Mental Health) with a small Business Size Standard of $27.5 Million. Contract award will be based upon the best value to the government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms IAW FAR 19.1405 and VA Acquisition Regulation 819.70. In order to be considered for award, prospective Offerors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.11 they shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in SAM prior to award of a contract. SAM is located at http://www.sam.gov and consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. There is NO cost to use SAM. Proposals received from firms that are not verified as SDVOSB will not be considered, and will not be eligible for award. All SDVOSB offerors must be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in VetBiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov at time of proposal submission in order to be considered and eligible for award. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of proposals. No specific response to this pre-solicitation notice is required at this time. No potential offeror listed is maintained. All potential small business offerors should register with Federal Business Opportunities if interested in this acquisition. No additional information is available other than what is noted herein.
