- DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg is considering and preparing to solicit and to subsequently award a 5-year IDIQ contract for the item listed below. (See FAR 16.504). The anticipated contract structure is a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods. DETAILED SPECIFICATION DOC#: MIL-DTL-32467 TITLE: Paint, Two Component, Epoxy-Polyamide, High Strength Room Temperature Curing, General Specification for Distribution Statement: D ITEM #1: Paint, Epoxy-Polyamide, Black, DTRC 2844-1109 NSN: 8010-01-224-4908 PN: MIL-DTL-32467/1 Estimated Yearly Quantity: 185 KT Distribution Statement: D ITEM #2: Paint, Epoxy-Polyamide, Yellow, DTRC 2844-1110 NSN: 8010-01-224-4907 PN: MIL-DTL-32467/2 Estimated Yearly Quantity: 420 KT Distribution Statement: D At this time, the only approved source is Sherwin-Williams Company (CAGE 54636). In order to be qualified to provide this paint to the US Navy, vendors must be able to pass a First Article Test (FAT). Please be advised that any potential contract award will not be delayed for the purpose of qualifying additional sources. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCPD) is the designated In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA). Requests for the MIL-DTL-32467, MIL-DTL-32467/1, & MIL-DTL-32467/2 shall be made to Lisa Weiser, NSWCPD Code 332 at (215)897-1612 or lisa.weiser@navy.mil. A Work for Private Parties (WFPP) agreement must be made between any interested vendor and NSWC Carderock in order for FAT to be performed. The cost of this testing will be the sole responsibility of the vendor.
