- DRAWING EIGHT DRAWING SEVEN DRAWING SIX DRAWING FIVE DRAWING FOUR DRAWING THREE DRAWING TWO DRAWING ONE BUILDING LAYOUT SOW FOR 80GSFC18R000RFP RFP 80GSFC18R000RFP RFP LETTER 80GSFC18R000RFP NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) has a requirement for a Pencil Beam Vacuum Chamber. The principal purpose of this requirement is to engineer, manufacture, and deliver a large vacuum chamber consisting of 3 sections bolted together. The performance of engineering design and structural analysis to produce manufacturing drawings is required. Upon GSFC approval of the engineering and manufacturing document package (MDP), the offeror shall either manufacture or acquire the chamber and any and all associated parts. Prior to shipment of the chamber, the offeror shall deliver an "As Built" document package (ABDP) that incorporates any negotiated and approved changes. Upon approval by GSFC the offeror shall appropriately package the chamber sections and parts for shipment, FOB destination, to NASA/GSFC, Greenbelt, MD 20771. See attached Statement of Work, dimensional requirement drawings, and building layout. The solicitation number is 80GSFC18R000RFP. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Odessia.H.Becks@nasa.gov no later than COB on March 15, 2018. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Any interested organizations should submit their capabilities, qualifications, and proposal to perform the effort in writing by E-Mail, to Odessia.H.Becks@nasa.gov, submissions made by any other means will not be considered. The due date for receipt of offers is April 1, 2018.
