Description
Sample of Products Draft Statement of Work for RFI purpose only This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate capable businesses. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is conducting market research and desires input from the industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the DoDEA to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: This is not a commercial solicitation and DoDEA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. 1. Description: DoDEA is interested in the identification of capable sources with online catalog and/or online ordering system to provide school furniture, common area outdoor furniture, and installation services throughout DoDEA Pacific schools in Korea, Mainland Japan, Okinawa, and Guam. See Attached files for a copy of the "Draft" Statement of Work and a list of sample required products. 2. Information Requested: a. Company Information. Name, Address, telephone number, FAX number, points of contact name(s), phone number, e-mail address. b. Identification of business size and whether currently designated a small business as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19 and also currently registered in the System of Award Management (SAM). Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/Size_Standards_Table.pdf. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337127. Small Business Standard is 500 employees. c. A description of similar or exact school furniture or outdoor school furniture that your organization offers that can meet the requirements stated in the attached SOW. d. Capability Information should include a brief explanation or a walkthrough of your organization online catalog or online ordering system. Capability should also include company experience in delivery the required furniture and providing installation services, etc in Japan, Korea and Guam. Please include contract references relating to school furniture to include: i. Contract number and Contract Type ii. Agency/Company supported iii. Period of performance iv. Original contract value v. Point of Contact (POC) with current phone/fax number vi. Brief description of the effort. e. Pricing - please specify percentage discount off your published or online catalog pricing on the attached sample item listing. Please also provide a link or URL to your organization online catalog/online ordering system. f. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. DoDEA is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. Capability packages should be limited to no more than 15 pages. h. Identify Major Risks: Provide general information to identify any major risks anticipated. i. Any special contract terms and conditions that would need to be included in a subsequent solicitation. k. Identify the number of days needed to manufacture and deliver the products after an order is placed. m. Any other information your organization may deem useful to DoDEA. 3.
