- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Road Maintenance services on an as-needed basis on Forest Service roads on the North Zone of the Cherokee National Forest. Work may include road reconditioning, restoring ditches, removing, cleaning, and installing culverts, installing silt fence, seeding and mulching, and clearing and grubbing. Incidental items of work include painting and repairing gates, installing signs, and installing furnished guardrail. Contractor will be paid at quoted pricing for actual work performed as assigned through Task Orders. A firm fixed price requirements contract is expected to result from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. Quantities shown in the Schedule of Items are estimated and are not guaranteed. No minimum amount of work or type of work is guaranteed. More than one award may result from this solicitation. The solicitation is issued under Solicitation No. 12475618R0001 and the solicitation is attached to this notice as an attachment. There is no formal site showing for this project. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Offers are due by 4:00 PM EST on Monday, December 4, 2017. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $150,000. Performance period will be from January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018. All interested firms are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) formerly Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to be eligible for award of a contract.
