- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term contract for FSC 1680 AIRCRAFT SAFETY BELT. A total of 1 NSN is targeted for this contract effort. This solicitation is to result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 1680-015283687. The proposed contract will be for a total 5 year period of performance. This is a FAR 15 effort. The below NSN has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. NSN 1680-015283687 AIRCRAFT SAFETY BELT Estimated Annual Demand - 74 each Minimum Order Quantity - 19 each Maximum Order Quantity - 74 each Maximum Contract Quantity- 680 each This Solicitation is unrestricted, Other than full and open competition under statutory authority U.S.C.2304(c)(1) The approved source of supply is as follows: Carleton Life Support Systems Inc. (99251) P/N 015-870180-5 Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (78286) P/N 70500-02156-103 FOB: Destination I/A: Origin This is a Source Control Item. It is a Life Support as well as a Critical Application and Navy Critical Safety Item (CSI). Export Control Restrictions and Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) apply. Delivery is 435 days for the First Article Report, 30 days for Government Review and Notification, and 405 days for the Production Quantity. The total delivery is 870 days ARO. SURGE is not required for this procurement. Ship to will be CONUS stock locations, as specified on the Delivery Order. Best value selection methods will be used. Pricing will be evaluated using the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD). The solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the RFP.
