Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 17 Network Contracting Office, intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to Johnson Control Inc., 507 East Michigan Street, M-93, Milwaukee, WI, 53202-5202, on behalf of the VA West Texas Health Care System located at 300 Veterans Blvd. Big Springs, TX 79720. Johnson Control Inc. is the exclusive provider of services for all Metasys products and software. Third party providers are not authorized to sell or service Johnson Control products and equipment. Johnson Control Inc. shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to provide annual preventive maintenance and software updates remotely and on site for the Metasys Control System located at the West Texas VA Healthcare System. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 8.405-6, Limiting Sources, soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code is 811310 and has a size standard of $7.5M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 1:00pm CST, March 8, 2018 to Dewayne.Knowles@va.gov and Victoria.Rone3@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
