- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to Leonardo Company in Pomezia, Italy on a sole source basis for a quantity of (1) Antenna Simulator, P/N RAC-5869-01.01, and to establish a means of Unit Under Test (UUT) repair for the High Frequency Radio Weapons Replaceable Assemblies in the event they fail during testing. In addition, NAVAIR is seeking engineering support for developing test programs in support of the SRT 470 HF Radios on the E-2D AHE platform. The Government intends to procure the above service under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
