Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements for the deliverables outlined below. The associated NAICS code for this is 339112. The size standard is 1000 employees. The vendor will be BIOSENSE WEBSTER INC. The Contractor shall provide the deliverables to: VAMC Ann Arbor 2215 Fuller Rd. Ann Arbor, MI 48105-2603 Requirement is for brand name supplies. Specifically, the acquisition is for ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UNIT D134805 CATHETER, ABLATION, BI-DIRECTIONAL, CURVE TYPE DF 30 EA D134804 CATHETER, ABLATION, BI-DIRECTIONAL, CURVE TYPE FJ 15 EA A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses shall include: (1) Business Name and Address, (2) GSA Contract Number, (3) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number and E-mail Address (4) DUNS and NAICS code (5) Business Size (6) Type of Business SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED, VETERAN OWNED, 8A, HUBZone, WOMEN-OWNED etc. Responses shall be submitted to John Saunders, Contracting Officer, at john.saunders2@va.gov no-later-than Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 4:30pm EST.
