- Description
- Solicitation No. 80NSSC18Q0390 Terms and Conditions We require a stepper motor system that is equipped with Harmonic Planetary Gear, programmable high step resolution (micro-stepping better than 0.01 degrees) and no backlash. We require several indispensable characteristics; incorporation high resolution Absolute Mechanical/Optical Encoder without backup battery so as to offer not only high flexibility and freedom of the layout design of the control box but also the capability of maintaining absolute positioning information even if the power shuts down during a positioning operation. Motor size 4.7x1.57 (with gears) Driver size 2.76x3.94x1.38 We also require that the positioning information is managed internally in the sensor/driver with no need to home the sensor/driver after any power or hardware failure to avoid any interruption in data acquisition. We require a built-in programmable controller that allows for up-to 256 stored operating data parameters, such as motor speed, home position, acceleration/deceleration, interrupts, step resolution, home position, motion range limits, holding current etc. to be executed by a master controller via Modbus (RTU)/RS-485 with capability to connect multiple units through one master controller.. We require that the motors operate on 24DCV in closed loop mode in order to reduce heat generation from the motor and its driver. We require that the motor's built-in controller offers high communication flexibility with the main computer allowing its easy integration with python software. We require that the motors and their accompanying software can, in real time, manage, check the performance of the motors control and monitor the motors operation parameters such as but not limited to: speed, location, temperatures, and errors.
