Special Notice Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for sources of the following. STATEMENT OF WORK/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Department of Veterans Affairs Seattle VA Medical Center Overview: Seattle VAMC requires Prospective contractors to provide the following Versajet II. Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal to Smith & Nephew. 2 EA VERSAJETT II POWER CONSOLE WITH FOOT PEDAL(INCLUDES USER MANUAL AND INITIAL POWER CORD) 2 EA VERSAJET II SURGICAL CART 1 EA VERSAJETII EXACT DISPOSABLE HANDPIECE 15/14MM 1 EA VERSAJETII EXACT DISPOSABLE HANDPIECE 45/14MM 1 EA VERSAJETII EXACT DISPOSABLE HANDPIECE 45/8MM 1 EA VERSAJETII PLUS DISPOSABLE HAND PIECE 15/14MM 1 EA VERSAJET II PLUS DISPOSABLE HANDPIECES 45/14MM 1 EA VERSAJET II PLUS DISPOSABLE HANDPIECES 45/8MM 1 EA USER MANUAL Objective: Our objective is to provide Sattle VAMC with necessary equipment to provide the best care for our veterans. Salient Characteristics The Government requires the following characteristics to be met: PSHCS requires an hydro surgery wound debridement system specifically to debride and cleanse soft tissue of a surgical site (acute, chronic wounds and burns). This hydro system would be used in applications that require sharp debridement and pulsed lavage irrigation. This system is intended for an operating room environment. This hydrosystem shall use sterile saline solution, a saline bag, and handpieces for specific debridement situations, and a waste evacuation tubing. Disposable handpieces, intended for single-use only and discarded after use is preferred. An hydrosurgical debridement system shall include a footswitch for ease of use. Power controls allow the user to select power settings from 1 to 10 for proper debridement for best attunement. An hydrosurgical debridement system console should only require to be cleaned by wiping all surfaces with a disposable towel or clothe soaked in disinfectant solution. PSHCS requires the hydrosurgical debridement system be on a wheeled cart for removal and storage when not in use. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 6 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Responses are due by 03/16/2018 1:00 pm EST. In accordance with FAR and VAAR Part 8 and/or 13, this notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, 19 Jan 2017.
