- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to replace multiple roofs within Big Cypress National Preserve, located in Ochopee, Florida on or about Mar 30, 2018. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5418R0018. Both flat and gable style roofs will be repaired or replaced. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business standard is $15M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a veteran-owned small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on Apr 16, 2018 at 10:30am (ET) in Ochopee, Florida. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on April 18, 2018 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the beginning of May 2018. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Ochopee County, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about March 30, 2018. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
