Description

The Contractor shall provide skilled competent employees trained by the elevator manufacturer or an accredited elevator apprentice program for the purpose of maintenance and repair of elevators located at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. 24 hour call service. Entrapments or accidents involving vertical transportation equipment is an emergency call back, as is a condition where all units are out of service. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary procedures, labor, testing equipment and test weights. Plan for Maintenance Control. The Contractor shall provide a maintenance control plan to include all units. Intended type of Contract is a firm-fixed price. The anticipated performance for a base year with four (4) one-year options to extend the services. The intended base period of performance is from 2018 to 2019. The Government plans to issue the Solicitation on the FedBizOpps during the month of March 2018. Note: No electronic submissions shall be accepted. Meaning, electronic offers or proposals will not be accepted. Note: System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all actions in excess of $30,000.00 for local firms and $3,500.00 for U.S. firms prior to award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. Refer to the following link for details on the registration process: http://www.sam.gov.
