Description

A-1. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for a non-personal services contract covering the annual Preventative Maintenance, Calibration and On-Site repairs to CCAD's 12 'Zeiss' Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). The CMMs models are covered: - Accura-Mass - Contura - Contura G2 - Contura G2 - Contura G2 - Contura G2 - Contura 9801 - Eclipse 550 - Eclipse 550 - Prismo Vast - Spectrum - Spectrum 700 A-2. The purpose of this solicitation is to award a sole source, fixed-price type contract to Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology, LLC. (Cage Code 1DUR9). As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), they are the only responsible source capable to satisfy agency requirements to ensure that the systems mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, measurement control and software are performing as an integrated system. A-3. The Contractor will perform 100 percent of scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration to OEM standards and conduct all repairs to include parts support within time frame specified in PWS 100 percent of time. A-4. Requests for solicitation will be accepted by mail or email. You may mail your request to Army Contracting Command - Redstone, ATTN: CCAM-ALR, Louis R. Zakary, Sparkman Center Bldg. 5303 2nd Floor, Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000, or send email requests to: louis.r.zakary.civ@mail.mil. Proposals may be hand-carried (reference solicitation for details, mailed via the US Postal Service, emailed, or delivered by a commercial delivery service. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds.
