- Address: Project Location Location: The project is located on the Eldorado National Forest, Amador Ranger District. Project sites can be accessed using CA HWY 88 and various County and Forest roads. Maps showing the general vicinity and/or specific work areas are included in Section J. Maps are general in nature and are not to be considered as definitively identifying locations. Description: Work shall commence at the beginning of road and shall continue to end of road or where staked on the ground by the Forest Service. Exclusions (non-work areas): Non- work areas or areas traversing sensitive sites will be marked on the ground by stakes and flagging by the Forest Service. Special directions may apply. In addition, there is a sediment trap located on 08N83 that needs to be protected. Accessibility: Roads vary in surface type such as chip seal, aggregate, or native. Care shall be taken to protect surfaced roads. Contractor will be responsible for any damage to road caused by misuse or careless use of the equipment. NOTE: Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their bids. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
