- General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State:Virginia City:Alexandria Delineated Area: - Point of Beginning: The intersection of Duke Street and S Van Dorn Street - West on Duke Street becoming Little River Turnpike just past I-395 - Continuing west on Little River Turnpike to Braddock Road - South and then West on Braddock Rd to Backlick Rd - South on Backlick Rd to Franconia-Springfield Parkway - East on Franconia-Springfield Parkway becoming Manchester Boulevard at the intersection of Beulah Street - Continuing east on Manchester Boulevard to Hayfield Road - Southeast on Hayfield Road to Telegraph Road - Northeast on Telegraph Road to S Van Dorn Street - North on S Van Dorn Street returning to the point of beginning Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):13,202 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):13,202 Space Type:Office Parking Spaces (Total):76 Parking Spaces (Surface):76 Parking Spaces (Structured):0 Parking Spaces (Reserved):0 Full Term:5 years Firm Term:2 years Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Alexandria, Virginia, that will be expiring. The current lease contains one 5 year renewal option. The Government intends to exercise the renewal term prior to the end of the existing term. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
