- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, intends to issue a firm-fixed price sole source award for the dumpster and garbage disposal at and around Grand Coulee Dam to Sunrise Disposal, Okanogan, Washington. The requirement is for a 2-month period of performance starting March 20, 2018, due to the option period not being exercised in a timely manner. Currently, Sunrise Disposal is the only contractor authorized by the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to provide solid waste services around Grand Coulee dam. The government intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). The sole source procurement will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 12 & FAR Subpart 13 procedures. Interested persons may identify their interest and submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. Capability statement must show an authorization from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to perform solid waste services around Grand Coulee dam. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.
