- N0016418SNB62 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT - SPG-62 Waveguide Assembly and Feed Horn Manufacturing - FSC 5985 - NAICS 334419 Issue Date: 20 MAR 2018 - Closing Date: 16 APR 2018 - 2:00 PM EST The Government is issuing this RFI/sources sought announcement as part of market research for the following: New Manufacture of SPG-62 Waveguide Assembly Kits (13 items per kit) New Manufacture of SPG-62 Main Feed Horns New Manufacture of SPG-62 Ancillary Feed Horns Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is seeking information from companies that have the capability and facilities to manufacture this requirement. The Government anticipates providing the drawings and/or technical data package (TDP) for all items to be manufactured. All items will be manufactured in strict accordance with the provided drawings, TDP AND Statement of Work. Please see attached DRAFT Statement of Work, paragraph 3.2, for exceptions to drawings. Responses should include explanation of ability or historical evidence of manufacturing the requirements. In addition, responses should describe the quality assurance (QA) of the firm to including submitting the firm's QA plan (if possible), customer satisfaction approach, approach for meeting delivery schedules in the face of competing demands, explanation of any standard warranty provided with products the firm manufactures, and explanation of the firm and its employees security clearance levels. Responses should not exceed 5 pages exclusive of company literature or plans provided. Responses to the Market Survey shall include the following on the front page of the submission: Submitter's Name Street Address, City, State, Zip Code Business Size Point of Contact (POC) POC Telephone Announcement Number: N0016418SNB62 Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx. At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for contractual efforts. This RFI/sources sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
