- The Government is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. This questionnaire is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this notice. Requirement The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District, anticipates soliciting a requirement for a firm fixed price construction contract to repair leakage in Monoliths 18 and 24 at Wolf Creek Dam, remove existing intake bulkhead guide rails, and/or replace with new intake bulkhead guide rails, and anchor the intake deck to the dam. Areas of leakage are approximately 80ft. - 100ft underwater. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The types of work and skill sets for this requirement are as follows: a) Repair of cracks/spall leaks on the upstream face of Wolf Creek Dam on Monoliths 18 and 24. Perform underwater grout repair to eliminate cracks. Remove existing membrane and install new metal membrane. b) Removal and/or replacement of the intake bulkhead guide rails. c) Anchor intake deck to the dam. d) Clean out foundation drains. e) Inspect power intake trash racks. f) Fabricate new intake bulkheads and lifting beam. The anticipated NAICS code is 238110, Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 million in annual receipts. Survey The Government is issuing this notice to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation and the items listed herein are subject to change or eliminated from the requirement. This questionnaire is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this notice.
