- OSHA Fact Sheet Food Storage Experience Questionnaire KNF Maps Silvicultural RXs Wage Determination The intent of this solicitation is to obtain quotes for hand pre-commercial tree thinning and stand improvement for the Kootenai National Forest, Libby Ranger District, Lincoln County, MT. The Performance Based, Firm Fixed Price services covered in this solicitation and resultant contract require the contractor to reduce the tree density and, by the deliberate selection of leave trees, improve the overall health and condition of the stand based on the prescribed objectives. Tree selection and cutting of undesirable or excess trees will provide space for the leave trees to grow and develop, reduce the incidence of insect and diseases that affect growth and undesirable tree qualities. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. All aspects of the work program shall be performed in an organized, systematic manner to assure services will be performed over the entire unit. LOCATION: The administrative office for this project is located at the Canoe Gulch Ranger Station, 12557 Hwy 37, Libby, MT 59923. To reach the station from Libby, MT, travel north/east from Libby, MT along Hwy 37 for 12.5 miles; station will be on your left side of the road. The work sites are located on the Libby Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest; all of the project roads are within 2 hours or 70 miles of Libby, MT. DATES: The period of performance is from the date of Notice to Proceed to June 15, 2019. Estimated start date: June 15, 2017or earlier as field conditions permit.SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING AS YOUR QUOTE: The following documents shall be submitted by the quoter for evaluation to be considered responsive: 1.
