Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO 9), on behalf of Memphis VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104 is issuing an intent to award sole source a firm fixed priced commercial item to Accessibility Services, Inc., a small business from Homosassa, FL to replace, install and upgrade software to the AutonoME Environmental Control Units (ECU). Accessibility Services, Inc. is the OEM and has proprietary to the products and systems.   Accessibility Services indicates that they do not sell their systems through dealers or distributors, but only direct to the VA.   This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), "soliciting from a single source." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 and has a size standard of 750 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 8:00am. CST, March 26, 2018 to: Lashanda.Harrington@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
