Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest will host an INDUSTRY FORUM on May 9, 2018, from 0800 to 1400 PST at a location to be determined. An amendment to this announcement will be posted when the venue has been confirmed. You are encouraged to monitor the NECO and FBO websites for updates to this announcement. NAVFAC Southwest will host an INDUSTRY FORUM wherein contractors will have one-on-one opportunities to present their company ™s capabilities, processes, and services to NAVFAC Southwest leadership. NAVFAC is looking for innovative ideas that will make a difference in the support we provide to the fleet and warfighters. The information received may be used in future procurements. However, this is not a request for proposal and no contract will result from the information obtained during the forum. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. NAVFAC Southwest, headquartered in San Diego, CA, provides all facilities acquisition, installation, engineering support, and base operating and maintenance services required to support Navy and Marine Corps throughout our six-state area of responsibility (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada). NAVFAC ™s primary business lines include: Construction oConstruction Services oArchitect and Engineering Services oDesign In-House oSpecialized Technical Services oOcean Engineering Environmental oEnvironmental Planning/NEPA oEnvironmental Studies oEnvironmental Compliance and Conservation oEnvironmental Restoration and Remediation oSustainable Solid Waste Management oCultural and Natural Resource Management and Studies oLaboratory Services Public Works oFacility Sustainment oUtility and Energy Management oBase Operation and Maintenance oFacility Management Services Asset Management oReal Estate oLand and Installation Planning oFacilities Planning oEncroachment Management oFacilities Integrated Logistics Support oReal Property Acquisition, Management and Disposal In addition to those services that NAVFAC traditionally contracts with industry, NAVFAC has in-house capabilities in the following areas, which we may be interested in augmenting via contract vehicles: Human Resources Financial Management Fire Protection Safety Public Relations Information Technology Training Planning, Estimating, and Budgeting Business/Data Analytics / Metrics Industrial Control Systems / Cyber Security Building Commissioning / Retro Commissioning Contractors interested in giving their capabilities presentation to NAVFAC Southwest leadership need to complete the Industry Forum Registration Form and return it via email to M_NAVFAC_SW_Small_Business_UD@navy.mil no later than 1400, April 24, 2018. Early submissions are encouraged. In addition to the registration form, firms need to submit a capabilities statement. The capabilities statement must be less than 1 MB and no more than two single-sided pages. Capabilities statements that exceed these limitations will not be accepted. The capabilities statement should clearly identify the work your firm self-performs, associated NAICS codes, projects you have completed within the last five years (including customer identification, description of work you self-performed, dollar value, project location, and completion date), unique certifications or licenses your company holds, bonding and insurance limitations (if applicable), current safety rating, and the benefits your company offers to NAVFAC over your competitors. NOTE: FORMS THAT DO NOT CONFORM TO THE REGISTRATION FORM REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NOTE: NOT ALL CONTRACTORS THAT SUBMIT A REGISTRATION FORM MAY BE INVITED TO GIVE A CAPABILITIES PRESENTATION. Selected contractors will be given ten minutes in which they will meet face-to-face with NAVFAC leadership to present their capabilities. All contractors that have submitted completed registration packages will be notified via telephone or email regarding confirmation or denial of attendance/participation at the Industry Forum. These notifications will be provide the week of April 30, 2018. In the event that NAVFAC Southwest receives more interest in this forum than time or capacity permit for individual presentations, contractors will be selected in the following order of priority: (1) most beneficial capabilities that may have a direct positive impact on NAVFAC Southwest ™s ability to accomplish its mission, (2) order in which registration forms were received.
