The Government intends to award a three (3) year Firm Fixed-Price contract on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 81205) for the required equipment, technical, logistic, and training data, along with provisioning data, for the SMS establishment of organic Intermediate and Depot Level repair facility. The Boeing Company is the only integrator of the SMS components for use on the P-8A Poseidon aircraft and the only source capable of meeting the Government's requirements to establish an organic Intermediate and Depot Level maintenance repair capability. The Boeing Company is the only known source that is capable of providing system expertise, knowledge, technical data, design drawings, provisioning data, training documents, and equipment required to perform the organic maintenance repair capabilities required by the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
