Description

This is Special Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Office of Acquisition (OA) is soliciting comments and suggestions from the commercial industry of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns on a draft Request For Quote (RFQ) for Translation/Transcription Services for conversion from Spanish to English and vice versa. The purpose of this Special Notice is to obtain information from the SDVOSB commercial industry to improve the content, clarity, correctness, completeness, and commercial practices of the draft RFQ. The Government will consider all comments received from SDVOSB concerns that are CVE certified and registered in VetBiz.gov at the time of submission. This is a Special Notice only. This is not a solicitation announcement. This draft RFQ neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict DVA/VBA/OA to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement, and requests for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government does not intend to respond to the comments. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. Responses to this Special Notice shall be limited to 5 pages or less, font 12; Times New Roman. Responses will only be accepted via email in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. The VBA email system does not accept files larger than 4MBs. The email subject line shall state Response to Draft PWS for Translation/Transcription. Please identify the paragraph number in the draft PWS that corresponds with your comments. Responses shall be submitted to Van.Hale@va.gov no later than 1pm (EST) on 04/04/2018.
