- Questions recieved during the solicitation period are listed below, along with the answers. -Question: Is there an incumbent? If so, please provide information. -Answer: Current Contract is held by Aramark and the contract number is SB1341-15-SE-0371. Please Note: The current contract is different than that requirements of this solicitation. The current contract does not include repairs/replacements in the fixed price service and prices the repairs/replacements separately. This solicitation is for a complete, fixed-price service that includes the repairs/replacements. -Question: Is there anything I need to complete prior to submittal? -Answer: Please see the solicitation for all items that are required for a proper submission. This may include, but is not limited to, a technical volume that addresses all the requirements of the service required; a price volume that demonstrates all requirements are included and a filled out "attachment #1" that provides the prices for Base and all options; past performance references as listed in the solicitation; information on your experience providing this service. Additionally, any clauses/provisions that require information to be filled in must be completed. -Question: Will there be a scheduled site visit for this opportunity? Answer: No site visit is anticipated. The description of the requirements fully illustrates the needs and there are no site-specific requirements that would require a site visit. -Question: What will be the anticipated award date for this contract? -Answer: Award is anticipated to be made in mid-April/May timeframe. -Question: What will be the anticipated start date for this contract? -Answer: Service must be ready to begin in full by June 1, 2018. NIST expectation is that delivery of full inventory shall be delivered on start of service and that laundry pick-up and drop-off will begin at that time. -Question: What is the current total annual awarded amount for this contract? -Answer: FAAPS 55962 for this requirement, posted in September 2017, estimated a yearly amount of $100,000 or less. -Question: Has funds been appropriated for this opportunity? -Answer: Funds have been approved for this project. -Question: Is this a new contract? -Answer: As shown above, there is a current contract for rental and laundry services, however it does not include repairs/replacement in the fixed price.
