- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. The purpose of this project is to repair the portion of Perimeter Road which connects to the WSA access road. The road will be reconstructed with a 24' top width outside the CATM range and regravel to an 18' width inside the range. The road profile was adjusted to minimize conflicts with utilities and/or minimum utility soil cover requirements. The water main near the beginning of the project will need to be relocated outside the new road side ditch to maintain frost protection cover. A direct bury communication wire will need to be lowered to avoid damage during construction. A new gate and barbwire fence will be installed closer to the Surface Danger Zone warning flag. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 17 April 2018. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 17 May 2018. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: sam.gov). All responsible sources must submit an offer good through 31 December 2018, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00
