We are seeking information for market research purposes only. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting market research on behalf of Salisbury Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Salisbury NC, through this sources sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses who can provide the BRAND NAME ONLY item(s) listed below: ST010102 STERIS 3085 SP Battery Powered General Surgical Table with X-Ray Tops 1 EA BF414 STD ACC PKG 3 IN ARMBOARD PAD EXTRA LONG STRAP 1 EA SE1100700072 Inspect and Start-Up 3085 Table STERIS. Service will stage the table in the location designated by the customer for review and check-in by the facility. STERIS will: Uncrate the table. Ensure that power is fully charged for an all-systems check. Fully inspect table condition and supporting hardware. Perform and complete STERIS 31 point start up test to confirm optimal table performance. Verify floor locking system is secure. Confirm tilt speed. Inspect shroud to ensure complete functionality and verify no damage during freight transportation. Remove and properly dispose of all crating material. All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to melisha.evans@va.gov. Your response is required by 4:00PM on April 2, 2018. This is strictly market research and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. In response, please include the following information: Authorized Distributor letter from Manufacturer, Steris Corporation Company/individual name Address Point of contact with phone number Company Socio-Economic SIZE (example large, small, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB ect.) Information describing your interest, Indicate FSS/GSA/SEWP contract number (if applicable) Tax ID number DUNS number NAICS code (if different than below) Capabilities statement Informal quotes will be used for market research Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall not be considered technically acceptable. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov) to be considered for SDVOSB/VOSB Socio-Economic status. The NAICS 339112 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 1000 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
