Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a FY19 production contract for the procurement of MK 20 Electro Optical Sensor System (EOSS) Spares to L-3 KEO - 50 Prince Street, Northampton, MA 01060. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact L-3 KEO directly. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency (Navy) if received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
