The requested Instruments and Supplies are multiple back-up Stryker/Howmedic hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows instruments and implants. This is needed for Ortho, and Podiatry surgery requiring small cannulated screws for implantation due to complex fractures. In order to meet form, fit, and function requirements and compatibility as this is a request for additional hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows instruments and implants due to increase in ORTHO/PODIATRY case load, Stryker is required. This acquisition is in addition to existing equipment and a concurrent acquisition utilizing a delivery order off of VA119-17-D-0013 a single award IDIQ. The Government believes that only one manufacturer can satisfy the agency requirements intends to negotiate solely with Stryker. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Friday 6 April 2018 at 3PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
