Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source award for a 12 month base and (2) annual option years to obtain preventative maintenance and support services for the following equipment at the VAMC Boston: 17 Medrad injectors to IMED Biomedical Inc. a verified SDVOSB; 2515 Tarpley Rd., Suite 104, Carrollton, TX 75006. This is not a solicitation, and since the intent is to procure these services on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The applicable NAICS code is 811219. The FSC/PSC is J065. The authority for applying the Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 38 U.S. Code § 8127, and is implemented by for restricting competition on this procurement via FAR 6.302-5(c)(2)(ii); authorized in VAAR 819.7007.
