Description
This is a notice by the 502d Contracting Squadron notifying the public that a Firm-Fixed Price service contract has been awarded to the following mandatory source enterprise for Grounds Maintenance services: Goodwill Industries of San Antonio 406 Commerce Street San Antonio, TX 78207-3102 Pursuant to the authority by FAR 6.302-5(a)(2), followed by the specified source outlined further in FAR 6.302-5(b)(2) Qualified Nonprofit Agencies for the Blind or other Severely Disabled-41 U.S.C. 85, this particular type of service is listed on the procurement list established by AbilityOne and Source America. Goodwill Industries is an authorized enterprise and sub-tier to Source America. Therefore, the procedures outlined in FAR 8.705 was applied as guidance for use of Mandatory Source procedures. The required services support the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Grounds Maintenance services. The summary of this requirement is to provide Grounds Maintenance services at designated medical buildings located at three (3) separate military installations or annexes: Fort Sam Houston, SAMMC, and Camp Bullis. Duty performance will be at the SAMMC campus and the medical facilities on Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, TX. The performance period for this requirement will consist of a Base Year plus Four (4) Option Years. This is not a Request for Proposal/Quotations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561730-Landscaping Services with a small business standard size expressed at $7,500,000.00.
