- Synopsis Amendment 3: This amendment is to address an industry question to the Government: Q1: Where are the testing documents (TP-Very Low Frequency [3413-0157 Rev A] 6/18/2013 and TP-System [3413-0032 Rev C] 6/9/2015) located? A1: The testing documents are the last four (4) pages, following the Solicitation and CDRLs, each testing document is labeled accordingly in the header text. Synopsis Amendment 2: This amendment is to address an industry question to the Government: Q1: Are there prints to reference for this bid? A1: The Government will provide the required drawings with the Request for Quote (RFQ). Synopsis Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to: (1) update the anticipated release date of Request for Quote (RFQ) Number N66604-18-Q-0055 from 21 March 2018 to 30 March 2018. (2) update the r equired delivery date from 30 May 2018 to 8 June 2018. This is a synopsis for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(a)(1), the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase, on a competitive and Firm-Fixed-Price basis, the fabrication of connectors, in accordance with applicable drawings. The contractor shall test and certify the fabricated connectors using designated testing procedures and each connector must pass the designated test criteria. The requirement is solicited as unrestricted as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334417. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The Government's anticipated CLIN structure is as follows: CLIN 0001: 3400-SK01, System Control Connector; Quantity 3 EACH CLIN 0002: 3400-SK02, Low Frequency Connector; Quantity 3 EACH CLIN 0003: Shipping; Quantity 1 EACH CLIN 0004: Data; Quantity 1 LOT, Not Separately Priced (NSP) Required delivery is no later than June 08, 2018. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI 02841. The drawings associated with this requirement are labeled Distribution D which means distribution is authorized to the DoD and U.S. DoD contractors with a valid Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification. Only offerors with an active registration in JCP will be provided access to the drawings. Upon RFQ issuance, please visit http://www.dlis.dls.mil/jcp for further details on the program and registration. To obtain a copy of the drawings your account in FBO needs to reflect your JCP certification. The drawings are uploaded to the site as an attachment with limited access by JCP certified companies only. The successful offeror shall provide a Unique Item Identifier (UID) for delivered items for which cost is $5,000.00 or more, in accordance with DFARS 252.211-7003. The anticipated release date of the Request for Quote (RFQ) Number N66604-18-Q-0055 is March 30, 2018 and will be posted for less than 30 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. Additional details will be released upon issuance of N66604-18-Q-0055.
