Although "offeror" is used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated will be solely at the interested party's expense. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on GSA E-buy at https://www.gsaadvantage.com. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. 2. The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) intends to procure a Robotic Surveying Total Station with 5 sec of angle accuracy. The total station should use and include a new trimble TSC3 Controller to run the equipment. It should also be robotic and have auto lock abilities. It needs to be equipped with MagDrive technology. It should have electronic distance measuring capibilities of Direct Reflect Plus with accuracy of 1.0 mm + 2 ppm Prism / 2.0 mm + 2 ppm DR. It should also have the capibilities for active tracking of prism. The measuring distance when shooting a standard prism should be at least 2000 meters. The total station should have surepoint technology to help reduce setup error. It also should be able to be intergrated with Trimble R10 Survey recievers. For data processing it should be able to be downloaded into Trimble Business Center. Respondents should indicate their socio-economic status (i.e. SB, 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, or SDVOSB). 3. The aforementioned information along with interest and capability statements are requested to be provided no later than 9 April 2018. Please answer all of the questions in as much detail as possible. 4. The requests for information are as follows: •a. Can you provide and deliver the above mentioned Robotic Surveying Total Station? •b. Does it come with a military or standard commercial warranty? •c. Will it include the operator's manual and any accessories needed for maintenance? •d. What NAICS code would you provide this work under? 5. The information that is received from this RFI will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition. All information will be kept within the 7th Contracting Squadron, and will not be shared with any other potential offerors.
