- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this sources sought notice is to identify potential bidders for Project No. 16-0050 Renovation of Sterile Processing Area, NH100, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The work includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of the sterile processing department at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune to include replacement of existing ceiling systems, gypsum board, wall finishes, doors, door frames and hardware, windows and window frames, corner guards, wall protection railings and bases, sheet resilient flooring and cove base material, air handling units, ductwork, piping, electrical, mass notification and fire alarm devices, and incidental related work. The project will be procured utilizing sealed bidding, FAR Part 14. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $36,500,000. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The contract completion date will be 540 calendar days after contract award. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for set-aside for small business (SB). Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than April 18, 2018, email responses to Stuart Johnston at stuart.johnston@navy.mil. Only email responses will be entertained. The response should include a list of three recent projects similar to the scope and size of the subject project, to include a short description of the project, the dollar value, the date completed, and whether the SB was the prime or subcontractor for the project. The response should also include the applicable type(s) of SB (HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc), the company CAGE code, and the company DUNS number. Incomplete responses will not be entertained. If adequate interest is not received from responsive and capable SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Bidders will be required to submit with their bid a bid bond valued at $3,000,000 or 20% (whichever is less) of the bid for work classified under Construction Wage Rate requirements. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Bidders can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available.
